What types of payment do we accept?
American Express, Visa and Mastercard. Personal checks are accepted COD or order prepaid.
How quickly will my order be processed?
As soon as we receive your inquiry or order, will begin processing your request. If you
have requested pricing for items not shown on our web site, you can expect to receive an
estimate the same or next business day. If you have placed an order, please allow
approximately 2-7 days for delivery. If you require a RUSH delivery, please let us know.
In most cases, we will be able to accommodate your request.
How will my order be shipped? Unless otherwise specified, orders will be shipped
UPS Ground, or Federal Express Saver for oversized shipments.
How does BarnDoor Lighting handle returns?
If there is visible damage to the packaging when your order is delivered, do not accept
the package. Contact BarnDoor Lighting, and we will notify the manufacturer and arrange a
new delivery. If upon opening the package, there is concealed damage, contact the shipping
carrier to process a claim, and contact BarnDoor Lighting.
If an item I ordered does not fit my needs, can it be returned?
Yes, you can return it to BarnDoor Lighting within 15 days for a refund. However,
returns must be shipped freight pre-paid and may be subject to a 15% manufacturers
restocking fee.
Can I place an order on-line without providing my credit card information?
BarnDoor Lighting Outfitters site is very secure. However, if you prefer to
order on-line without providing your credit card information you can. Fill out order form
on line as directed then e-mail us and advise the type of payment method you prefer. You
can also fax your order to us at 203/268-2237 or call us at
1-888-BRN-DOOR.
Can I use the on-line catalog for estimating the cost of purchasing?
Yes, you can view the price of each item separately, add them to the shopping cart and
fill out the payment and shipping inquires to obtain a total cost before canceling the
order.

What Is The Payment Policy For First-Time Customers?
First time rentals are COD (either by cash, check or credit card). However, credit terms
are available after a credit application is completed and approved.
What Other Paperwork Is Required To Rent Equipment?
A valid insurance certificate naming BarnDoor Lighting Outfitters as additional insured
and loss payee must be mailed or faxed to BarnDoor Lighting prior to renting equipment.
Coverage must include the replacement value of the equipment rented.
Is There Sales Tax On Equipment Rentals?
Yes, if you are renting equipment for use in Connecticut or New York State, sales tax will
be charged unless a resale certificate is presented for that state.
Can I Rent A Van Or Truck And Drive It Myself? For insurance purposes, only
approved BarnDoor drivers are permitted to drive our vehicles. However, if you would like
rental equipment delivered and picked up from a job, we will make arrangements.
What Are The Office Hours For Equipment Pickup and Return?
Our office hours are Monday-Friday (9a.m.-5p.m.), unless special arrangements have been
made in advance. Rentals may be picked up after 2:00 p.m. the day prior to the start of
the rental, and must be returned by 11:00 a.m. the day following the rental.

Is a lighting and grip crew
provided for equipment rentals?
Yes, BarnDoor will recommend and coordinate a lighting and grip crew for rental
customers at no additional charge.
If I'm having problems with a light, can BarnDoor Lighting repair it?
In most cases we can. However, if the problem is the result of a defective part, we
will advise you who you can contact to have the equipment repaired.
Does BarnDoor offer equipment demos?
Yes, in most cases we can arrange for a product demo at our offices for purchase
evaluation.
